He has also had his work (uncredited) in other various publications that designers and architects have taken pictures of to feature their work. Eric takes safety seriously and rigorously tests every fire art feature/burner to assure the upmost safety before sale of the product piece. You can count on his safe measures being a F.I.R.E. Certified Inspector (find a certified inspector Here near you) for fireplaces, chimneys and gas appliances as well as his lifetime certification with OSHA.

Eric has been an artist and creative thinker since the first grade. He has been a computer programmer, electrician, a production efficiency analyst, graphic designer, welder, gas fitter and many more. A Jack of all trades and a master of many. Due to health restrictions, Eric has had to resign from doing installations and service in a family run business with his sister for the fireplace & hearth industry. His sister, Lisa Eiklor (with Eiklor Flames West) convinced him to initially become an inspector. Once he achieved his certification, he decided he wanted to do more with his large and wide variety knowledge base. Without limiting himself to one industry and utilizing all of his skill sets to the best of his ability, he started Phoenix Fire Art, LLC.

The goal of Phoenix Fire Art is to not only create safe, practical, elegant and unique art pieces for fire features but to also help engineer and create unique items for other industries as well. Whether you're another small business, auto mechanic, HVAC tech, a person that crafts as a hobby or a larger commercial outfit, Phoenix Fire Art is here to help you create exactly what you need with safety in mind. The major endgame goal is to eventually be able to cater to all industry needs once we have obtained the equipment to do so. For now, Phoenix Fire Art will start out small and work its way up by gradually building its name and cementing itself into the metal fabrication and artistic industries.

Currently Phoenix Fire Art offers customized fire feature burners, burner pans, decorative art sculptures, fire feature art accessories, indoor/outdoor decorative metal art, custom light fixtures and metal wall art. Eric as a F.I.R.E. Certified Inspector also offers consulting to architects and builders for proper, safe and practical application of fire features. Consulting is offered and/or recommended prior to and during initial construction. Eric also can help in facilitating education in fire feature applications, repair, maintenance, service, installations, troubleshooting and proper placements of decorative features as an educator or guest speaker.
